Israel & Israel advocacy organizations have adopted messages that strengthen anti-Israel narratives.

As Israel sends soldiers into Gaza to fight Hamas, Lizzy Oziel & Yehuda HaKohen discuss the challenges and benefits of understanding the narrative of the Other during war.

The two also discuss the failure of the hasbara industry’s efforts to properly frame the conflict and effectively present Israel’s position.

  • I appreciate you striving for intellectual honesty, and you made some great points, but many times you guys *sounded* like there’s moral equivalence here.
    – Valuing all human life VS worship of death – including of their own kids.
    – Honesty and truth, even if painful, VS lies upon lies upon lies, since the ends justify the means – that’s not just a different “narrative”,
    – As brutal as parts of the Israel nation might have been, say at the times of Tanach, I bet they did not burn enemy babies alive.
    – You guys are way to charitable to the Left that’s supporting Hamas. For a real expose, listen to the talks of James Lindsay of New Discourses, esp his recent episode on “Decolonization is violence”.
    – lots more to say – can I come on your show?
    Thanks
