Returning to Ancient Jerusalem with Ze’ev Orenstein

Ze'ev Orenstein
Can the City of David Foundation continue facilitating Israel's historic reunion with Jerusalem in such a way that benefits local Palestinians?

Ahead of Yom Yerushalayim, which celebrates the Jewish people’s liberation of Jerusalem during the 1967 Six Day War, Yehuda HaKohen is joined by Director of International Affairs for the City of David Foundation Ze’ev Orenstein to discuss the deeper spiritual and historical significance of Israel’s return to its ancient capital.

The two also discuss some of the archaeological discoveries at the City of David, the neighborhood’s centrality in reconnecting with Israel’s roots and some of the practical challenges preventing better relations with local Palestinians.
