There’s no solution for ending this war other than Gaza becoming part of Israel again.
United States President George W. Bush’s 2005 Disengagement policy must be reversed. The Jewish communities destroyed by that policy need to be rebuilt. But the Israelis who already know this need to rid themselves of the fantasy that Gazan Palestinians will move (or be moved) elsewhere.
Restoring Gaza to Israel will obviously require us to take responsibility for Gazans and to offer them a better future with us.
