Engaging with the West & Islam

Esav & Yishmael
The Torah prophetically teaches us about Israel's deeper relationship with both the West & Islam.

The Torah is prophecy lowered into our world to help us better understand our true selves and the purpose of history.

The Torah also speaks directly to us by revealing the spiritual forces on the back end of our reality shining into our world in every generation (why history tends to rhyme so much).

When the Torah speaks of Esav, it’s not only teaching us about the historical character of Esav ben Yitzḥak but also of a spiritual archetype for what we today call Western civilization.

When the Torah speaks of Yishmael, it’s not only teaching us about the historical character of Yishmael ben Avraham but also of a spiritual archetype for what we today call the Islamic world.
