My Tent

My Tent (poem): view of in Tzfat
Photo: Shai Reef

Sea splits inside me

blinding waves crash up against the lining

I seek a tent that no longer exists

Replaced with pills and pain

I am

Blessed with a body

Cursed with the pain

The sum of my ancestor’s actions

Comes to fruition

Every time I prove

The potential within me.
