The 13th of Adar was once Yom Nikanor – a holiday marking the date Yehuda Maccabi defeated the Seleucid-Greek General Nikanor at Adasa.

Yehuda HaKohen shares a class on this ancient Maccabean festival that’s currently experiencing a revival in the State of Israel.
